Finding the right home care means finding someone who can show up for everything — not just the easy parts. At Verdant Care Partners, we offer a full range of services designed to support your loved one's comfort, safety, and dignity at home. Whether your family needs a few hours of companionship each week or consistent personal care every day, we'll build a plan around what actually works for you.
Everyday support
These services are available to any client and are provided by our trained care team.
Companion care
Sometimes the most important thing a caregiver can do is simply be present. Our companions provide meaningful conversation, cognitive engagement, and a consistent, familiar face — giving your loved one something to look forward to and giving your family peace of mind.
Overnight companion care
For families who need coverage through the night, we provide a calm, attentive presence from evening to morning. Whether it's managing restlessness, responding to nighttime needs, or simply ensuring someone is there, overnight care is billed as a flat shift rate for predictable, transparent costs.
Homemaking & housekeeping
A clean, organized home isn't a luxury — it's part of staying safe and well. Our caregivers handle light cleaning, laundry, tidying, and home organization so your loved one can focus on living comfortably rather than managing their space.
Meal planning & prep
Good nutrition matters, especially for older adults. We plan and prepare meals based on your loved one's preferences, dietary needs, and schedule — handling everything from grocery planning to cleanup so mealtimes stay enjoyable and nourishing.
Errand & pickup support
Getting to a pharmacy, picking up groceries, or running a local errand shouldn't be a barrier to independence. Our caregivers handle the logistics so your loved one stays connected to their routine without relying on family for every trip.
Personal care & ADL support
The following services require a PSW-qualified caregiver and are available as part of a personalized care plan.
Bathing & shower assistance
Personal hygiene is deeply private, and we treat it that way. Our PSWs provide bathing and shower assistance with care and respect, following each client's preferences and pace. Safety and dignity are never compromised.
Transfers & mobility assistance
Moving safely from bed to chair, chair to standing, or navigating the home takes skill and awareness. Our trained PSWs assist with transfers and mobility in a way that reduces risk of injury and supports as much independence as possible.
Continence care
Continence support requires sensitivity and professionalism. Our team approaches this aspect of care matter-of-factly and with complete discretion, ensuring your loved one is comfortable and their dignity is maintained at all times.
Palliative care
End-of-life care calls for presence, patience, and compassion above all else. Our PSWs provide comfort-focused support for clients and their families during this time — helping with personal care, light tasks, and simply being there.
Supporting Clients living with Dementia
Many of the families we work with are navigating some form of cognitive decline. Our caregivers are trained to provide calm, consistent, routine-based support for clients living with:
-
Alzheimer's disease — the most common form; we focus on familiar routines, gentle redirection, and reducing confusion
-
Vascular dementia — often follows a stroke; we support daily structure and monitor for changes in function
-
Lewy body dementia — we provide patient, non-confrontational care with awareness of hallucinations and mobility risk
-
Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) — we support families managing behavioral and personality changes with consistency and calm
Care boundaries
We believe in being upfront about what we do — and what we don't. Verdant Care Partners is a personal support and companion care agency, not a medical or nursing service.
We do not provide:
-
Medication administration or management
-
Wound care or any clinical nursing tasks
-
Diagnoses, medical assessments, or health monitoring beyond basic observation
If your loved one requires medical-level care at home, we're happy to help you identify the right resources and work alongside other providers where appropriate.
Verdant's care team do not provide clinical or memory care. What we offer is reliable, compassionate presence — the kind that makes daily life more manageable for both your parent and your family.
