Verdant was founded by A. Gabriel Benmergui, a digital systems and operations professional with a background in building accountable, process-driven businesses. The agency was built alongside an experienced PSW with deep roots in York Region home care — bringing together operational rigour and frontline care expertise from day one.
All Verdant caregivers are employees. That means they're covered by WSIB, held to consistent standards, and supported by us — not left to operate independently without oversight. It also means you're protected. When a caregiver enters your home, they represent Verdant and everything we stand for.
Every Verdant caregiver goes through a thorough screening process that includes a Vulnerable Sector Check, verified PSW credentials, and current CPR and First Aid certification. We don't place anyone in a client's home we wouldn't trust in our own.
Yes. Verdant Care Partners holds an Ontario Temporary Health Agency (THA) licence, carries full liability insurance through Clarity Canadian Insurance, and is registered with WSIB. We meet every regulatory requirement for home care agencies operating in Ontario.
