At Verdant, there isn't one — every member of our care team is a qualified PSW. That means whether your loved one needs companionship and light housekeeping or hands-on personal care, the same trained professional handles it all. You don't need to manage multiple caregivers for different tasks.
No — OHIP does not cover private home care services. Ontario Health atHome provides some publicly funded care, but hours are limited and waitlists are long. Verdant Care Partners is a private-pay agency, which means families pay directly in exchange for flexible, consistent, on-demand service.
Care begins after an initial assessment where we learn about your loved one's needs, preferences, and daily routine. Once the assessment is complete and the right caregiver is matched, we move quickly. In most cases families are up and running within a few days of first contact.
No referral is needed. You can contact us directly and we'll take it from there. If your loved one is being discharged from hospital, we're happy to coordinate with the care team to ensure a smooth transition home.
We maintain a coverage protocol so your family is never left without support. If your regular caregiver is unavailable, we arrange a qualified replacement and notify you as soon as possible. You won't be left making calls on short notice.
